EVERY DETAIL
MATTERS.
Straight answers about our plans, operating restrictions, parts and consumer protections.
Are appointments open?
Not yet. The company is pre-launch. Paid work, estimates, bookings, deposits, online intake and vehicle custody are closed.
Where would mobile service take place?
Only at lawful, authorized and job-suitable customer or third-party locations. There is no public workshop, roadside service or residential drop-off. Exact coverage is pending.
Do you use OEM or aftermarket parts?
Both genuine OEM and carefully vetted, high-quality aftermarket parts, electronics and supplies are eligible. Exact fitment, manufacturer guidance, safety, value and customer approval control the choice.
Is BAR registration the same as launch approval?
No. BAR ARD 317160 identifies the registered repair dealer; service-specific qualifications, insurance and all remaining commercial release gates are separate.
What types of automotive services are planned?
Diagnostics, maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical/12V, audio and security are core plans. Accessories, fluid work, A/C refrigerant work and fleet electronics involve additional approvals.
Do you provide Smog Check or safety-system inspection certificates?
No. Those regulated station programs require separate qualifying licenses. None are offered here.
Can every mechanical repair be performed on site?
No. The exact vehicle and manufacturer procedures must fit the tools, personnel, safe support, lawful location, environmental needs and coverage.
Can I get an estimate without a VIN?
Vehicle-specific quotes will require a validated full 17-character VIN and confirmed configuration after launch. The website does not collect VINs or issue quotes during pre-launch.
Do you install aftermarket electronics?
Appropriately vetted, high-quality aftermarket electronics and genuine OEM components can both be considered if compatible, safe, lawful and approved for the specific vehicle.
What are planned hours?
Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific, Saturday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, Sunday closed. These hours are planning references while bookings are closed.
Do you have a public shop or vehicle drop-off?
No. The business is entirely mobile. The residence is administrative only; no customer repairs, vehicle custody or drop-off at that address.
Is there a guaranteed travel radius?
No. Greater Los Angeles is the planning area, but precise coverage is not published until insurer and operating-area clearance.
How can I verify the registration?
Use the California Department of Consumer Affairs official licensing search for BAR ARD 317160, associated with The Black Hand Automotive LLC. Registration is not a claim of insurance or current service availability.
